Destructoid grabbed an interview with Call Of Duty 4's Robert Bowling, as he talked about the forthcoming map's for Xbox Live's most popular game.
The first maps will be available in a pack of three and all of them will be varied enough to please the community, who asked for open maps with closed quarter areas and more buildings with no closed doors.
"People who want open maps are going to be happy with this map pack," Bowling says. "People who want more indoor locales are going to be happy with this map pack. People who want something completely different from what they're currently playing are going to be happy with this map pack."
Bowling also underlined Infinity Ward's commitment to Call of Duty 4 should outlast its inevitable sequel. "We don't dictate how much we update our game based on what other studios do," he explains. "So if another game comes out, that doesn't mean we stop supporting ours."
He also says that while the idea of downloadable perks and weapons have been thrown around, no plans have been set in stone yet.
